Accor’s $300 Million in APAC Hotel Renos and Refurbs

Accor Pacific announced that its partners have invested more than $300 million in hotel renovations and refurbishments since the beginning of 2022. Extensive renovations and refurbishments have occurred in various locations throughout the Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and French Polynesia. The investment aims to enhance guest satisfaction, elevate property amenities and ensure Accor's 400 hotels, apartments, and resorts in the Pacific remain at the forefront of the industry. Among the notable projects completed is the refurbishment of Manly Pacific – MGallery in Manly, Sydney. Peppers Waymouth Adelaide unveiled a new look earlier this year, and the five-star Swissotel Sydney unveiled its new lobby bar and European-inspired rooftop pool. The Playford – MGallery, Adelaide, received a $25 million full property makeover, and in 2022, a $40 million renovation of the Pullman Melbourne on the Park was unveiled. The list really goes on and on for properties that are renovated, but it is safe to say that more than $300 million has been spread out among many properties for refreshing.
