Manila's Newport World Resorts to Get $170 Million Upgrade

Alliance Global Corp plans to spend nearly $170 million this year, mainly on upgrading facilities at Newport World Resorts and developing Westside City.

Macau's Statistics and Census Service said June visitation rose 15.5% year on year to 2,551,318. That was down -5% from May while the average visitors of 85,000 per day were at 82.4% of June 2019. Visitors from mainland China were up 14.4% year on year to 1,652,490. The Philippines had become the top international market, up 90.2% year on year in June to 48,008 visitors followed by Korea, up 113.4% to 30,848.
