Marriott Re-imagines the W Hollywood

W Hollywood, reimagined by Marriott International, Trinity Investments, and Oaktree Capital, now offers redesigned amenities including 319 rooms, dining options, a rooftop venue, a revamped gym, and extensive event spaces.

The DJIA rose 40 points while Nasdaq was up 15, the S&P 500 was up a point and the 10 year treasury yield was up .04 to 3.79%. Lodging stocks were higher.

STR reported US lodging data for the week ended September 28. U.S. hotel RevPAR was up 10.2% with ADR up 7.5%. Group RevPAR surged 27.5%. The results were helped by the Yom Kippur holiday shift. New York City RevPAR was up over 70% thanks to the UN General Assembly.

W Hotels from Marriott International, Trinity Investments and funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. unveiled the newly re-imagined W Hollywood. The property features 319 guestrooms and suites, a triple-height signature Living Room, Living Room bar, and The Garden. W Hollywood will also open The Patio, a new, all-day dining option situated within The Garden.
