Choice Hotels is revitalizing its Radisson Hotels Americas brand with new visual identities, enhanced guest experiences, and significant renovations at key properties.
The DJIA was up 107 points while Nasdaq was down 11, the S&P 500 was up 9 points and the 10-year treasury yield was up .01 to 4.69%. Lodging stocks were mixed. SOND was the biggest mover, down -5%.
STR reported U.S. lodging data for the week ended January 4th. U.S. hotel RevPAR was up 14.9%, and rates were up 11.7%. RevPAR rose despite Group RevPAR being down -25.7%. New Year’s Day was on Wednesday instead of Monday in the previous year.
LionGrove announced the purchase of ADERO Scottsdale Resort, Autograph Collection, marking LionGrove’s first hotel property in Arizona. The resort features 177 rooms, including 16 suites and 32 casita-style rooms, two heated pools, a sundeck, a wellness studio, a boutique spa, a signature restaurant, and more than 16,800 square feet of event space.
