Primeworld Land Holdings and Hilton have signed an agreement to introduce the first Hilton Garden Inn in the Philippines. This marks Primeworld’s expansion into the hospitality sector. The Hilton Garden Inn will be developed within Primeworld District in Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan Island, Cebu. The hotel will include 151 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant and bar, versatile event spaces of up to 350 square meters, an outdoor swimming pool, and a fully equipped fitness center. The hotel is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2028.

San Miguel-led New NAIA Infra Corporation is pushing through with its plan to demolish the Philippine Village Hotel in Pasay City to construct a new passenger terminal. The long-abandoned hotel is expected to be demolished on April 21. The Philippine Village Hotel is located within the government-owned land, right beside Terminal 2 by the main ramp of Philippine Airlines.
