Vietnam is expected to have 25 million tourists in 2025. That would be up from 17.6 million foreign visitors last year. As of September of this year, they already were at 15.4 million international tourists for the year. The surge in foreign travel is attributed to the nation's strategic efforts to enhance its tourism infrastructure, promote its cultural heritage, and tap into key Asian markets. The number of midscale-to-luxury hotel rooms surpassed 192,000 as of 3Q25, a compound annual growth rate of 10.9% over the past decade. That makes Vietnam one of the fastest-growing hotel markets in Southeast Asia.
