Houston has gotten a 17-story hotel under the Holiday Inn Express/Staybridge Suites brands. Plus, more hotel deal and development news.

Lodging stocks were modestly higher, with a new high from APLE and a 5% rise from INN. BofA Securities upped target prices pretty much across the board on their lodging coverage. While BofA said both HLT and MAR both tracked above consensus RevPAR forecasts for 1Q, both stocks fell on the day across a modestly positive day for the group.
