Vietnam received a record 10.6 million international visitors in the first five months of 2026, a 14.9% year-on-year increase. May arrivals were up 17% to 1.78 million. Mainland China and South Korea were the top two largest sources of visitors.
The first AC Hotel by Marriott in the Philippines opened on May 15th in Ortigas. The hotel occupies almost 25,000 square meters in the Glas Tower in the Ortigas Center, spread across eight floors (including the roof deck) out of the building’s 60, with the remaining floors used as offices. The hotel currently has 160 keys, spread out over nine categories, with 80 of the rooms as Superior King, 40 as Superior Doubles, and the rest of them Deluxe King, Larger Room, Junior Suite, Deluxe Suite, Studio Apartment, and one and two-bedroom apartments.
