Ahead of Ryman Hospitality Properties’ Investor Day, Truist Securities upped their price target for the REIT.

Choice Hotels International issued an investor presentation that they said disputed the false and misleading antitrust claims made by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in connection with CHH’s attempt to acquire WH.

Hilton Grand Vacations is acquiring Bluegreen Vacations for approximately $1.5 billion, expanding its membership base and resort portfolio. HEI Hotels & Resorts takes over management of the Renaissance Times Square hotel in New York. Hyatt is collaborating with Parks Hospitality Holdings to develop four new properties in Mexico, including the Park Hyatt Cancun and Grand Hyatt Mexico Santa Fe.

DJIA and S&P 500 rose, Nasdaq was up, and the 10-year treasury yield decreased. Airbnb Co-founder Joe Gebbia sold over $1 billion worth of stock, while ABNB reached a 52-week high. U.S. hotel RevPAR increased, new hotel constructions and acquisitions were announced, and a hotel opening was delayed in Portland.

Market Performance: DJIA fell 5 points, Nasdaq rose 128, and S&P 500 increased by 16 points; lodging stocks underperformed consumer and leisure stocks. The vast majority of lodging company earnings, both REIT and C-Corp , have been very positive, with the REITs being the biggest surprise. Crescent Hotels & Resorts has added The Viv, Anaheim, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel , to its Latitudes: Lifestyle by Crescent collection. Black Creek Mexico announced that Grupo Alojica completed the Westin Resort & Spa acquisition, in Puerto Vallarta , from affiliates of Marriott Vacations Worldwide .
