Europe hostel chain A&O is set to invest €500 million to aid its expansion across Europe. The company is seeking to expand its presence in European city centers.

Hilton will acquire the Graduate Hotels brand for $210 million, which includes all rights to the Graduate brand worldwide, franchise agreements for all existing and signed pipeline Graduate Hotels, and future development and growth.

Wyndham had their typical quarter, but WH did say fighting off CHH is going to cost them about $75 million, while Hyatt gave a late-night press release that stated their 4Q results would be delayed because they have not finalized accounting relating to ALG’s Unlimited Vacation Club.

MCR has refinanced a 16-hotel portfolio for $333 million, generating $51 million of net proceeds. In less than three years, MCR doubled the portfolio’s new operating income, increasing it from $15 million at acquisition to $36 million.

IHG Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of a new build Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel in Arkansas, while Best Western Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of the Best Western Halito Inn in Oklahoma.

Hospitality Ventures Management added 15 new hotels in 2023 to its portfolio of select-service, full-service and resort properties. Most of these additions are Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt brands.

Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. completed the previously disclosed acquisition of Bluegreen Vacations. The transaction broadens HGV’s offerings, customer reach, and sales locations, creating a premier vacation ownership, and experiences company.

Las Vegas Sands’ Marina Bay Sands in Singapore’s expansion plans received another increase. Marina Bay Sands said they launched the second phase of its significant reinvestment program.

Four Seasons will develop the Four Seasons Residences at The Ocean Club in Nassau, Bahamas. This project, set to open in 2027, will include 67 Private Residences with luxurious amenities including an oceanfront pool, private cabanas, a beachfront restaurant, a spa, and more.
