Hotels in Thailand still want the government to accelerate the launch of the new phase of the domestic stimulus scheme even with an influx of Chinese tourists expected to show up. STR reported Sydney’s hotel industry recorded its highest performance levels of the pandemic-era. Chinese aviation data company VariFlight said domestic flight activity jumped to around 65% of pre-pandemic levels in China yesterday. STR reported China hotel RevPAR for the week ended December 3. RevPAR was down -2.6% on a year-over-year basis while down -40.2% against the same week in 2019.
