Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the largest U.S.-based hotel company in China, has signed nearly 600 franchise agreements and opened almost 300 hotels in China over five years.

Langham Hospitality Group has signed management agreements for three hotels on a single plot. The newly built properties are part of Xiamen Seaworld which is China Merchant Group’s mixed-use development that is perched on the western shore of Xiamen’s main island.

Taiwan’s travel industry expects inbound tourism to recover, with five new luxury hotels opening this first half of 2024.

Dusit Hotels and Resorts opened Dusit Princess Phatthalung in Thailand, its first in the far south of the country. Regal Hotels International announced a partnership with Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Investment to build about 100 hotels globally, with a significant focus on the Middle East.

IHG Hotels & Resorts said the are pursuing an ambitious expansion plan in Greater China that explores popular and emerging destinations. Hilton’s upscale focused service brand, Hilton Garden Inn , announced the opening of its fiftieth property in Greater China. Brisbane’s $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane resort and casino will officially open before Christmas.
