Good Hospitality Services in conjunction with CPSTAY2 LLC announced the opening of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Crown Point, Indiana. The 114-suite hotel features an oversized indoor pool and large outdoor patio with fire pit and grills.
Aimbridge Hospitality has been selected to manage the new Tribute Portfolio Hotel Chicago, which is set to open in early 2026. The 340-room property is being developed by DAC Developments.
Raines has added the Fairfield Inn & Suites Whitsett Greensboro East in Whitsett, North Carolina to its management portfolio. This is the third hotel that Raines is managing for Clarendon Properties. The 102-room hotel features an indoor pool, fitness center, convenience store, group meeting space, and a lobby bar.
Lakeshore Hotel Partners is planning to build a mixed-use development in downtown Muskegon, Michigan called Harbor 31 that would include housing, retail, and an Element Hotel by Marriott. Tax incentives were recently approved for the project, which is also being developed by Harbor 31 LLC, according to hotelprojectleads.com.
The new owner of DoubleTree by Hilton Spokane City Center plans major upgrades to the hotel it recently purchased. The 375-room hotel was purchased for $35 million by Spokane Hotel LLC, which is a company set up for purchase by JMA Ventures. JMA Ventures said the new ownership group, which includes a management agreement with Resolute Road Hospitality, will keep the DoubleTree by Hilton Spokane City Center name but plans a top-down renovation for all the guest rooms, 17 meeting rooms, outdoor pool, fitness center, and business center. The hotel also boasts an onsite restaurant.
Coury Holdings continues its coast-to-coast expansion, securing nine new hotel management agreements across California while strengthening its leadership team with the appointment of Bo Patel as Chief Operating Officer. Patel will lead West Coast growth and operations, driving strategic expansion, operational excellence, and brand partnerships for Coury Holdings’ West Coast assets with a particular focus on the Concert Hospitality division, which specializes in branded full and select-service hotels. Prior to joining Coury Holdings, Patel led a team managing an AUM family office real estate portfolio. With the addition of these nine California properties, Coury Holdings gains a significant presence in both Northern and Southern California, offering a diverse range of lifestyle and branded accommodations in San Diego: the Hilton Garden Inn Old Town, Hampton Inn Mission Valley, Homewood Suites Mission Valley, and Homewood Suites Hotel Circle and the DoubleTree Palm Springs in Palm Springs. Meanwhile, Coury Hospitality, the lifestyle division of Coury Holdings, expanded its curated hotel portfolio with four new management agreements in the Western Region: TETRA Hotels Autograph Collection, Sunnyvale; Hotel Citrine Tribute Portfolio, Palo Alto; AC Hotel Palo Alto, Palo Alto; and AC Hotel Sunnyvale, Sunnyvale.
IHG Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of a newly built Candlewood Suitesin Oxford, Alabama. The hotel features 92 rooms and a gym. Candlewood Suites Oxford - Anniston operates under the ownership of Shivaay Oxford LLC.
Developers are proposing to build a new Hyatt Place Hotel in Half Moon Bay, California. The hotel would contain 102 guestrooms, including two buildings, the main lobby, a meeting room, and a pool. Secure parking will be included for 30 bicycles and 148 cars. RGJC South LLC is developing the hotel.
Sonesta International Hotels Corporation announced the execution of an agreement to build The James Hotel & Residences Downtown Miami, an $850 million development that is expected to open in January 2028. The new 82-story tower will feature approximately 336 fully furnished residences, a world-class spa, private cabanas with plunge pools, snow and rain rooms, award-winning restaurants, and an exclusive four-story private club. The agreement was executed with Mint Developers.
Edgewater Group LLC announced the sale of the Sleep Inn by Choice Hotels in Destin, Florida. The sale price of the 77-room hotel was $7,000,000.
Mod Motels is excited to announce its first boutique, luxury model, Interstate Inn, opened this week in Stephenville, Texas. The 33-room boutique motel is the first of three Texas openings from Mod Motels opening between now and 2026. The hotel now features an upscale restaurant and a special event venue.
The Maron Hotel & Suites in Danbury, Connecticut, has been sold to a New York-based hotel group for $5 million, according to city records. The hotel offers 86 rooms, including 11 suites, and 18,000 square feet of retail space.
Trailborn announced the official opening of Trailborn Surf & Sound in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, marking the brand’s fourth property. Formerly the Blockade Runner Beach Resort, the newly renovated hotel features 151 guestrooms, newly updated event venues, a new lobby, a great lawn with fire pits and games, a market, an upgraded fitness center, an indoor hot tub, and a sauna. Trailborn Surf & Soundwill unveil a variety of new dining options this spring.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that Hyatt has entered into a management agreement with Anacaona de Inversiones for a new Hyatt Vivid branded flagship resort in the Dominican Republic that is expected to open by the end of 2025. Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana will feature an impressive spa, indoor and outdoor gyms, pickleball and tennis courts, five specialty restaurants, a convention center, four pools, swim-out rooms, and a quiet corner pool serviced by its own wet bar.

Horwath HTL announced Bryan Younge has joined the firm as Managing Partner, Practice Leader - Valuation Advisory Americas. In his new role, Younge will oversee the firm’s advisory services across the Americas. Under Younge’s leadership, the firm has launched the Horwath HTL MarketCompass Lodging Reports, covering 110 markets across the United States.
Hilton named Caroline Krass as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Krass most recently served as the general counsel for the Department of Defense. Krass will join Hilton on March 17, 2025.

Radisson Hotel Group reported a record-breaking year in 2024 after adding almost 40,000 keys to its global brand portfolio. The Radisson Collection brand grew in 2024 to nearly 70 hotels and achieved significant portfolio growth across key destinations. This included the signing of the first Radisson Collection properties in Paris and Madrid, the signing of the Group’s third Radisson Collection property in Riyadh, and the opening of flagship hotels in Rome, Italy, and Srinagar, India. Radisson Blu achieved remarkable success last year, as the brand counted over 20 additions to its portfolio, reflecting strong momentum in EMEA and APAC. The growth included openings and signings in cities such as Casablanca, Morocco, and Conakry, Guinea. Radisson RED expanded into several new markets, including Danang, Vietnam; Berlin, Germany; Auckland, New Zealand; Vientiane, Laos; and Abuja, Nigeria. Notable highlights include the debut of the brand in Galway, Ireland, and the debut of the brand in Phuket, Thailand. Radisson Individuals is now one of the fastest-growing brands in APAC, with almost 15 additions to the portfolio in the region in 2024, including openings in Udaipur and Saket in South Delhi, India. London Marriott Hotel Country Hall, one of London’s most historic hotels, opened 35 new river view rooms and suites, set in the former Greater London Council building on London’s South Bank. In addition to the new accommodations, the hotel’s Club facilities reopened. The new gym features the latest premium equipment and an indoor pool.
HQ Hotel Sao Paulo will be constructed by INC Urban Developers in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The new property will offer luxurious accommodations alongside unmatched culinary and nightlife concepts, an expansive garden, central pool, rooftop terrace, and versatile meeting spaces.
