Hotels across the United States are preparing for a potential drop in international visitors as a new $250 visa integrity fee is set to take effect on October 1, 2025, according to Hotel Management Network. The charge will apply to travelers from non-visa-waiver countries, adding to the already high costs of securing entry to the U.S. The fee will increase the total cost of a U.S. visa to about $442. Travel analysts warn this could deter visitors from countries such as China, India, Mexico and Brazil, all of which play a major role in international tourism to the U.S. Popular destinations, including New York, California, and Florida are seen as particularly vulnerable to reduced demand, given their reliance on over
