Hyatt Opens First Bangladesh Hotel in Dhaka

STR/CoStar reported China hotel data for the week ending November 15th. Hotel RevPAR in China in local currency was up 4.1% year over year. It was up against a comp in last year's week of a decline of -3.6%. Last week, occupancy was up 0.9% while ADR was up 3.2%.
Hyatt Hotels announced the opening of Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara, the first Hyatt hotel in Bangladesh. Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara features 85 rooms, including King, Twin and View Rooms, as well as Suites with expansive views of the airport runway. All-day dining is available at Zing, there is The Market and Zing Skybar, the hotel's rooftop bar. This is the first internationally branded upscale hotel in Uttara.
