STR reported U.S. lodging data for the week ending 4/11. U.S. hotel RevPAR was up 0.40% with rates up 1.5% and occupancy down 1.1%. Group RevPAR was down 25.1%. The Easter/Passover timing wreaked havoc on group events.
Brickell Arch, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Miami, has opened following a transformation and now operates as part of Marriott Bonvoy's The Luxury Collection.
