The markets staged a bit of a comeback with the DJIA up 72 points, the Nasdaq up 496, and the S&P 500 rising 81 points. SVC and AHT were both up 6% today. New highs were set by CLDT, H, RLJ, INN, SHO, RHP, HST, APLE, XHR, DRH, and VAC.

Design Hotels has reached agreements with the owners of 16 hotels operated by Palisociety to join its portfolio. The properties, located in nine destinations across the United States, represent more than 1,000 total keys and mark the largest portfolio addition in Design Hotels' history. Design Hotels, part of Marriott International, comprises more than 300 independently owned hotels. Building on strong portfolio growth in 2025, Design Hotels is expected to surpass 100 hotels across the Americas this year, a historic first for the brand.
