Accor Pacific announced the grand opening of Peppers Manly Beach, managed by Accor Vacation Club, a hotel in the heart of Manly, Australia. This was previously known as the North Tower of The Sebel Sydney Manly Beach. The official opening of Peppers Manly Beach will be on August 25th, showcasing a range of 42 suites, apartments, and suites. Amenities include two swimming pools and secure underground parking.

Accor said they remain committed to managing Sofitel Philippine Plaza, despite the reclamation of Manila Bay, which has already blocked its guests’ view of Manila’s sunset from the hotel’s pool area. Philippine Plaza Holdings Inc owns the hotel, and they will rehabilitate the 50-year-old hotel with a budget of P4 billion. The hotel sits on a property leased from the Government Services Insurance System. The project is estimated to cost P72 billion and will be a mixed-use development and include condominiums, other living spaces, and commercial and retail areas.

The hotels opened include the Novotel in Mumbai, close to the International Airport, ibis in Thane, and Novotel in Jodhpur. They plan to open ibis properties in Wagator, a Novotel in Jaipur, and Grand Mercure in Agra for the remainder of the year. The company has tested the model and three properties in Himachal Pradesh. They operate under the Cozzet Collection umbrella, with an increasing number of hotels signing up. Cygnett Hotels aims for 10,000 rooms to operate under the Cozzet Collection model within the next few years.
