The Hanoi Department of Tourism said the total number of tourists to Hanoi in September reached nearly 4.2 million. International visitors alone reached about 667,000, with the total bringing in revenue of 12 billion VND for the capital. In the first 9 months of 2025, the total number of tourists to Hanoi was estimated to be 26.07 million, up 23.8% over the same period in 2024. International tourists are estimated at 5.5 million, with domestic tourists at 20.5 million. Total revenue from tourists in the first nine months is estimated at VND98,360 billion, up 20.7% over the same period in 2024. Hanoi's target for 2025 is for over 30 million visitors, so they are already at 86% of the target.
