Macau visitor arrivals rose 32.6% in February to just over 4.17 million people. Visitors from China's mainland rose 43.6% to just over 3.29 million. Taiwan visitors rose by 31.9%, but that was up 89,628. Macau's big push for international visitation continues, but international visitors were down -3.3% year on year in February to 200,848. Same-day visits were up 41.8% to just under 2.68 million. Overnight visitors rose 18.8% to nearly 1.50 million. In the first two months of the year, visitor arrivals are up 15.1% to just above 7.82 million. Same-day visitors totaled 4.93 million, up 22%, while overnight visitors were up only 5% to nearly 2.89 million. International visitors totaled 479,301, up 6.8%.
