Baird said they see reasons to be a bit more constructive on hotel REITs but are remaining selective. The setup seems more favorable into year-end with the toughest comps behind them, but their intermediate-term fundamental view is unchanged as the cycle dynamics remain unfavorable. Investor sentiment and expectations remain low, and with the most challenging growth comps past and a more favorable RevPAR outlook into year-end, they see a few more reasons to be tactically positive over the near term. Apple Hospitality is their Best Idea, while their Positive view of DiamondRock Hospitality is unchanged. They noted the Braemar announ
