The Korea Culture and Tourism Institute reported the number of foreign visitors to South Korea exceeded 4.74 million in the first quarter, up by more than 22% year-on-year. Cumulative arrivals during the January-April period reached 6.77 million. Foreign tourists are also spending at record levels. In April, overseas visitors in Seoul spent more than 1.15 trillion won using payment cards, the highest figure since statistics began.
Hilton will add more than 2,000 new Hilton Garden Inn rooms across China, reinforcing the brand’s presence in major business centers such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, while broadening its footprint into emerging leisure destinations across China.
