Radisson Hotel Group plans to open eight new hotels in Uttar Pradesh, including the 108-room Radisson Prayagraj. Plus, more hotel deal and development news.
The latest International Travel and Migration data from Statistics New Zealand shows 230,300 international visitors arrived in August 2025, up 7.5% from August 2024. 52% of the visitors were from Australia, 9% from China, and 5% from the United States. Officials believe they can get back above 2019 levels, as they are currently sitting at 88% of December 2019 visitor numbers.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation said it has expanded its lifestyle portfolio in Asia with the opening of Caption by Hyatt Kabutocho Tokyo, the brand’s first property in Japan. The hotel is located in Nihonbashi Kabutocho, historically known as Japan’s financial center. The 195-room Caption hotel is considered an upscale, focused service brand with an emphasis on social interaction and flexible spaces.
